BackgroundandPurpose—Primaryangiitisofthecentralnervoussystemremainschallenging.Toreportanoverviewandpictorialreviewofbrainmagneticresonanceimagingfindingsinadultprimaryangiitisofthecentralnervoussystemandtodeterminethedistributionofparenchymal,meningeal,andvascularlesionsinalargemulticentriccohort.
Methods—AdultpatientsfromtheFrenchCOVACcohort(CohortofPatientsWithPrimaryVasculitisoftheCentralNervousSystem),withbiopsyorangiographicallyprovenprimaryangiitisofthecentralnervoussystemandbrainmagneticresonanceimagingavailableatthetimeofdiagnosiswereincluded.Asystematicimagingreviewwasperformedblindedtoclinicaldata.
